The main focus of the session was home based management of children with intellectual disability. Most of the parents failed to manage with the behavioural problems of their children with ID. The session included major behavioural problems of ID children, interventional strategies and guidelines for parents to deal with social stigma and associated issues.
The NIDAS webinar creates awareness among people especially parents and caregivers of the individuals with disability, and thus provides a platform to share their concerns and clear doubts. For more than two years, NIDAS has been successful in creating awareness regarding various aspects of disability and associated issues.
