A webinar on Communication: Methods other than speech was held on 23rd June 2018 by Ms. Sangeetha G.S. Speech Language Pathologist, Dept. of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology, NISH, Thiruvananthapuram. The session was open for parents and caretakers and they have clarified their concerns regarding the various methods & technologies currently available for better communication.
The NIDAS webinar creates awareness among people especially parents and caregivers of the individuals with disability, and thus provides a platform to share their concerns and clear doubts. For more than two years, NIDAS has been successful in creating awareness regarding various aspects of disability and associated issues.
