The Constitution of India has guaranteed the full protection to the rights of disabled people. There are a list of social legislation which will protect the social and economic life of person with disability. This session tries to create awareness on the existing laws, policies and programme for the person with disability.
The NIDAS webinar creates awareness among people especially parents and caregivers of the individuals with disability, and thus provides a platform to share their concerns and clear doubts. For more than two years, NIDAS has been successful in creating awareness regarding various aspects of disability and associated issues.
