It is estimated that up to one half of children with epilepsy have some type of learning problem. Learning problems in children with epilepsy range from those who have widespread cognitive delay to those who have only mild and very specific learning problems. This session was based on the Speech and Language disability among children with epilepsy.
The NIDAS webinar creates awareness among people especially parents and caregivers of the individuals with disability, and thus provides a platform to share their concerns and clear doubts. For more than two years, NIDAS has been successful in creating awareness regarding various aspects of disability and associated issues.
